What a way to spend the first Friday of September! On Friday, September 2n, Scott and I had made another visit to Canada's Wonderland. During our visit, we had met up with our cousin Brook and her children William and Sydney again for a day of fun riding rides and eating blue ice cream! For the majority of our visit Scott and I rode rides that William wanted to ride!
Unfortunately my camera stopped working just before I entered the park :-( , but I was able to capture some photos of our day using my phone. Despite the park being quite busy, it was a fun day nonetheless! :-)

Scott and I arrived at the park shortly after 9:30am. It didn't take long to get in for a Friday heading into the Labour Day weekend! |
After getting through the front gate, we headed to the Medieval Faire section. |
As it was anticipated to be a very busy Friday at the park, there was no rope drop for Medieval Faire. We made Leviathan our first ride of the day, followed by Drop Tower before meeting up with Brook and her kids. Scott and I only waited around 30 minutes to ride Leviathan! |
While waiting for Brook and her kids to arrive, Scott and I waited near Thunder Run, which had its queue spilling into the midway at 11:30am! |
Once Brook , William, and Sydney had arrived, Brook and Sydney went off to Planet Snoopy and the water park, while Scott, William, and I rode some of the larger rides such as Spinovator and Viking's Rage. William had greatly enjoyed both of these rides in late-July! |
The Lazy Bear Lodge dining facility looks closer to being completed! |
There are some bears laying lazily on the building as the name suggests! |
While in line for Spinovator, I captured this photo of Riptide flipping riders upside down! I ad asked William if he wanted to ride it, and he immediately responded with a "no'! haha |
Since I have a feeling this may be the last year that William will be able to ride Sugar Shack in Kidzville, I agreed to ride it with him again. We had spun like crazy just like we had in late-July! It sure is a dizzying experience! |
The Bat was still unfortunately down, just like it has been during my past few visits to the park. Hopefully it reopens again soon! |
After riding some more rides and eating some blue ice cream, we took a break near the Arthur's Baye in medieval Faire. A duck swam up to us and waited nearby until we walked away. |
In the early evening, some rippled clouds rolled in, making for a fantastic photo opportunity! |
For our last ride of the day, William had choose White Water Canyon. While the line appeared to be long, the wait was actually shorter than expected! William had greatly enjoyed his ride on it! |
The Lazy Bear Lodge looks quite nice as the sun began to set! |
As darkness began to fall, the lights on the rides began to shine! |
Here's a look a Behemoth's first drop as the sun began to set. |
After a great day of almost 12 hours of fun, it was time to head home! :-) |
