On Sunday, October 25th, my brother Scott and I made another visit to Canada's Wonderland for a day of thrills, followed by an evening of Halloween Haunt and night rides! The park was very busy as it was a beautiful sunny day, which is quite rare for late-October!
With this being our last visit of the season before Winterfest begins on November 21st, we made the most of this visit by riding as many rides as possible, enjoying the Halloween Haunt mazes before they close for the season, and hanging out with our friend Amadeo, his friend Shayne, and Tyler of Wonderland Weekly in the late-afternoon into the evening. Overall, it was a great 12+ hour visit at the park, making it my 12th visit of the 2026 season!
Be sure to enjoy the photos from my visit! 🎢🎃
| We arrived at the park just before 10:30am for the early ride time on AlpenFury! |
| The crowds were quite light in the morning, but would become heavier later on it the day, making the lines for the rides quite long, especially with Behemoth and Leviathan still closed. |
| The wait for AlpenFury was just on the stairs when Scott and I arrived. Soon after the line would wrap its way through the queue below! A ride on AlpenFury was a great way to start our day! |
| Up next we did a ride on The Fly! The cars appear to move faster around the hairpin turns in the cooler weather! |
| Before the park officially opened for the day, we took a ride on Vortex, which was also flying in the morning! |
| At 11am, we hopped on The Bat! I always enjoy the forcefulness of the loop, especially when going backwards! The Bat will be 40 in 2027! Here's hoping it gets a new train for this milestone! |
| We then continued our way through Medieval Faire for a ride on Drop Tower! |
| We then took a ride on Dragon Fyre. It's nice to see how popular it has become over the past couple of weeks with the temporary closure of Behemoth and Leviathan. |
| With Shockwave being closed during our previous visit on October 17th, I made sure to take one final spin before it closes for the season. I had quite the wild ride, getting some head dives towards the ground! 😂 |
| At 12pm, Scott and I did The Conjuring Beyond Fear attraction. On Sundays, it is only $20 per person, which is half off the regular price! It made doing it again totally worth it! |
| With Scott and I being the first ones in for the day, we were the only ones in our group, something we hadn't experienced last year! |
| Here's the photo of us going through The Conjuring Beyond Fear! It was nice being able to experience The Conjuring Beyond Fear by ourselves! We were also able to notice the details more this year as our view wasn't blocked by other guests! |
| Even though we did The Conjuring Beyond Fear twice last year, we still found it to be just as fun and thrilling! I only wish it was still included in the Haunted Attractions Express Pass like it was last year. But as I mentioned, $20 per person on a Sunday was a great deal! |
| After enjoying The Conjuring Beyond Fear, we worked up quite an appetite! Our first meal of the day was from the Pizza Pizza Deep Dish Pizza location in Grande World Expo. This was our first time dining at this location as it opened in the later half of this year. |
| I was highly impressed with how tasty this deep dish pizza was! I ordered the pepperoni deep dish pizza with a side of bocci bits (garlic bread bites). |
| Scott ordered the Hawaiian deep dish pizza with a side of fries! |
| I love how golden the honey locust trees near Swing of the Century are this late in the season! |
| After enjoying some delicious deep dish pizza, we took a spin on The DareDeviler! It has become one of our go-to rides this year with the introduction of the new trains and retheme back in July! I still can't believe how enjoyable it is! |
| Once in a while, you need to catch up on some sleep! There's no better place to do it than on the bed in Necropolis! 🤣 |
| During this visit, some workers were power washing and buffering the floor on Antique Carousel! |
| It appears that my thoughts of a restoration were correct! I am glad to see the Antique Carousel receiving some love as its floors were looking quite grubby in recent years! |
| While in Action Zone, we took a ride on Sledge Hammer! |
| The trees along the path between Action Zone and Frontier Canada were quite vibrant in early-afternoon sun! |
| Up next was one of four rides throughout the day on Mighty Canadian Minebuster! It sure flies in the cooler weather with its recent retracking! |
| Scott and I then took two back to back rides on Tundra Twister as it had no line! We had some slow rolls at the top during our two rides! You just never know what kind of ride you'll have on Tundra Twister! 😂 |
| Trick or Treat Street was bustling with guests during this beautiful Sunday afternoon. |
| Around 2:40pm, we met up with Amadeo and Shayne for some rides! Before we rode some more rides, Scott and I enjoyed broken cookie ice cream sundaes from the Cookie Cafe. For some reason it is presented differently every time I order it! This time it was more like a snapped in half cookie sundae! 🤣 |
| Scott, Amadeo, Shayne, and I took a ride on Mighty Canadian Minebuster near the back! There is plenty of airtime to be had in the back! |
| We then took a back row ride on Vortex! |
| After our ride on Vortex, we ran into Tyler of Wonderland Weekly. Amadeo, Shayne, and I joined him for a ride on Wilde Beast near the back of the train! I do hope Wilde Beast gets retracked like Mighty Canadian Minebuster has over the past couple of seasons, as it desperately needs it! 🤕 I am sure the park can give Wilde Beast the love it deserves! 💝 |
| Scott joined the four of us for a ride on Drop Tower. Scott and I rode with Tyler. I always enjoy my rides on Drop Tower! |
| As it was nearing 6pm, Scott and I joined Tyler to see the unleashing of the scare actors near the front gate on International Street. |
| They were quite delighted and eager to meet the guests as they ran onto International Street! 👻 |
| The jester from CarnEvil looks quite menacing! 🤣 |
| The zombies from Streets of the Undead were slowly making their way along International Street! After the scare actors were released, Scott and I headed off to do some mazes. |
| With Halloween Haunt now open for another evening, the fog began to roll throughout the park! |
| Today's Haunted Attraction Pass was pink. |
| Our first maze of the evening was The Ruins! The scare actors really seemed to be trying their best to startle guests as they wandered through the maze! |
| The fog was quite thick behind Wonder Mountain! Also, the crowds were quite huge for a Sunday night just days before Halloween! |
| For our second meal of the day, Scott and I ordered honey garlic chicken tenders with fries from Roadside Chicken in Frontier Canada. The sauce almost looked like BBQ sauce. |
| After devouring our tasty honey garlic chicken tenders and fries, we got in line for Spirit Manor and Demons of the Deep. |
| AlpenFury looks quite spooky with the fog blowing through the air! |
| Trick or Treat Street's atmosphere is really good at night with the lighting and the fog! |
| Up next was a walk through of CornStalkers! With there being only days before Halloween, the scare actors were doing a great job at startling guests, just like in The Ruins! |
| During our walk back to Medieval Faire from Frontier Canada, I stopped to take a photo of the fog blowing past the weeping willow trees near Lumberjack. It looked quite eerie! |
| The pumpkin men near Shockwave were looking frightfully good! |
| The next maze for us was The Crypt! It appeared to be the most popular maze this year judging by the lines! |
| After we got in line for The Crypt, it began to stretch toward the underpass of the former Speed City Raceway track! |
| After The Crypt, I was finally able to buy a Halloween Haunt inspired purple candy apple! It was very sticky! |
| Wonder Mountain looks quite ominous during Halloween Haunt! |
| While waiting for Amadeo and Shayne to meet up with us again, Scott and I walked through Necropolis. |
| I love how ghostly the scare actors look in this scare zone! |
| A band was performing on the stage near the AlpneFury skyflyer loop in CarnEvil. |
| We met up with Amadeo for a night ride on Tundra Twister! While not as intense as earlier, it was still a very fun ride as we did get some hangtime! |
| Shayne then joined us for a night ride on Mighty Canadian Minebuster! It has great night rides! |
| With under an hour until the park closed for the night, we were going to take another ride on Drop Tower, but it sadly broke down, with riders being stuck at the top for a short period, before being lowered back down to the ground. |
| Instead, we took another ride on Vortex! It too has great night rides! |
| For our final ride of the night, we took another night ride on Mighty Canadian Minebuster! It was an amazing way to end our day! |
| On our way out, I captured this photo of the Royal Fountain, which was being converted to Snowflake Lake for the upcoming Winterfest season. |
Here is Scott, myself, Shayne, and Amadeo before heading out for the night! It was a great day filled with many thrills and Halloween Haunt fun! 🎃🎢 I do hope we see some new attractions for Halloween Haunt next year!
The next time I visit Canada's Wonderland will be for some Winterfest fun! Until next time! 🙂 |
