Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland - December 22nd, 2025

On Monday, December 22nd, my brother Scott and I did another visit to Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland!

This visit was taken at a leisurely pace, taking in some shows, enjoying great food, and riding some rides. Thankfully it wasn't very cold, which made for a very enjoyable evening! It was really fun visiting just a few days before Christmas as it really helped get into the spirit! Be sure to enjoy the photos from our visit! ๐Ÿ™‚๐ŸŽ„❄️

Our third Winterfest visit of the season started off with milder temperatures of around 0°C (32°F), compared to a temperature of -22°C (-7.6°F) with the Windchill just two weeks ago!

We went to Lazy Bear Lodge for our first meal of the day as it was one of a few restaurants open throughout our visit.

The Reindeer Roundup is a funny animatronic show.

Our first ride of the visit was on Wilde Knight Mares! It was one of the few rides that kept going all evening!

After a spin on Wilde Knight Mares, we took a ride on Viking's Rage. It was being a bit temperamental in the milder temperatures today! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Arthur's Baye in Yuletide Village (Medieval Faire) was frozen over!

We then ventured over to North Pole (Grande World Exposition of 1890) to take in some shows. Here's a look at one of the elves sitting on the shoulders of a reindeer.

Scott and I always enjoy starting our evening off with the Polar Party. The entertainers are really good at what they do, adding a touch of humour to the show!

As it was just one day after winter solstice, the lights came on quite early!

The park seemed to have a decent crowd as many people are off from work and school for the Holidays now!

At 4:30pm, we caught a showing of the Cool Yule show. It's always a great one to watch as they sing many Christmas songs!

The lights on the houses in Frontier Canada were working quite well during this visit as they flashed to the music.

We checked out Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree Lot and saw Peppermint Patty during our visit!

Before taking in The MistleTones show in Frontier Canada, we ventured through Kidzville, taking many photos of the lights.

There's just something magical about seeing Wilde Knight Mares operating far off in the distance through the Christmas lights!

Charlie Brown's Christmas Town is quite beautiful with its colourful lights!

As you can see, there was some snow still on the grounds at the park.

At 5:15pm, we took in The MistleTones. These ladies did a great job at signing some Christmas songs with some humour!

The lights in Frontier Canada are very beautiful!

Near AlpenFury in AlpenFest are the Kris Kringles. These silly Winterfest characters sure love hamming it up for the camera! They even asked me "What's up Doc?"!๐Ÿ˜‚

The lights along International Street always look so nice!

The backside of the drawbridge in Medieval Faire is also very nice with its wreaths and garland!

With it being so close to Christmas day, it definitely felt like Christmas this visit!

Yuletide Village was buzzing with excitement as Wilde Knight Mares rose to the skies!

It is nice how they have live entertainment in Yuletide Village featuring local artists.

The light tunnel is always fun to walk through as the lights race around you!

Viking's Rage is quite stunning during Winterfest as it swings over a frozen Arthur's Baye.

I had some chocolate ice cream from the Cookie Cafe. I enjoy having ice cream anytime of year!

Before taking in another showing of the Polar Party, Scott and I took a spin on the Antique Carousel.

The lights in the North Pole behind Antique Carousel and Swing of the Century are very nice, shining bright in the darkness!

This showing of the Polar Party featured games for both young and young at heart. Here are some children partaking in the "tree decorating" game. Scott and I were later chosen to partake in a game of Christmas Charades, where we won some Christmas socks!

After a fun time at the Polar Party, we ventured to International Street, making our way to Aprรจs Poutinerie for our second meal of the night.

We had the Turkey Dinner Poutine which was very delicious, like we had discovered on our previous visit!

After eating, we headed over to Boo Blasters. The wait wasn't too long despite a temporary delay.

After a ride on Boo Blasters, Scott posed with Franklin!

Our final ride of the night was on Thunder Run!

Here we are in front of some Christmas baubles near the front gate.

Just before leaving, we posed with Jack Frost! After our photo, he stayed stuck for 20+ seconds after we walked away! He takes freezing to a whole new level! ๐Ÿคฃ

Unfortunately the lighting wasn't too great for this photo, but here we are with Mr. Tanenbaum, the host of Polar Party and the unofficial Mayor of Winterfest!

Here's one final look at Wonder Mountain before heading out!

That's a wrap on our third visit of Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland! Thanks for following along! Have a Merry Christmas and happy holidays! ๐Ÿ™‚๐ŸŽ„❄️

Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland - December 7th, 2025

On Sunday, December 7th, I had another evening of Winterfest fun at Canada's Wonderland with my brother Scott and our friends Amadeo, Sarah, Joseph, and Dave! Despite the temperatures being very cold, it was a great time of twinkling lights, shows, rides, and food!

The recent snowfall made Winterfest more magical than our previous visit on opening weekend with the Christmas lights shining very bright!

Enjoy the photos from my latest visit to Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland! ❄️๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ™‚

Scott and I arrived at the park just before 3pm for another 6 hours of Winterfest fun!

I always enjoy how interactive the characters at Winterfest are with the guests! The Poinsettia Princess (new for this year) really loved my Bugs Bunny Christmas sweater I was wearing over my coat! I hope she comes across this photo!๐Ÿ˜„

A bit of snow had fallen over the week before our visit!

Before taking in any rides and shows, Scott and I had the turkey dinner at the Lazy Bear Lodge. It was good just like during our previous visit to Winterfest!

It was nice seeing the Christmas trees around the park dusted with snow!

One of our first rides of the evening was on Viking's Rage. It felt more forceful in the colder weather!

We then headed over to Charlie Brown's Christmas Town for a ride on Boo Blasters and Flying Eagles. Here's one of the penguins nearby the Character Carousel.

The platform of Flying Eagles was a bit slippery as it was covered in snow. Despite the slight difficulties of getting in to the car, Scott and I enjoyed our frigid ride!

Afterwards, we caught the Four Drummer's Drumming show. It was a nice, family friendly show! The new stage allows them to do a bit more!

The lights really sparkle with the snow on the ground!

We walked to Lazy Bear Lodge to meet up with Amadeo, Sarah, and Joseph.

Afterwards, we headed to North Pole for rides on Sledge Hammer, Psyclone, and Swing of the Century.

The snow and lights really makes the park glow!

Antique Carousel looks absolutely stunning with the surrounding Christmas lights.

Swing of the Century gave a fun ride. But you could really hear it creaking and humming in the below freezing temperatures!

After getting on some rides in the North Pole, we headed over to Thunder Run and Klockwerks. On our way over, I captured this photo of the giant light-up gift.

After a fun ride on Thunder Run, I then captured some photos of International Street.

Wonder Mountain during Winterfest always impresses me with its dazzling lights!

I then stopped by Alphorn Funnel Cakes for a classic strawberry and ice cream funnel cake. Despite the frigid temperatures, it was very delicious! It was my first funnel cake in over six years!

The tree across from Shockwave was glowing a vibrant red!

After I ate a funnel cake, we met up with Dave. Scott, Dave, and I enjoyed our second meal of the day, the Turkey Dinner Poutine from the Aprรจs Poutinerie. I found it be very good as it had the perfect amount of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, fries, and cheese curds! I think it is my second-favourite Winterfest dining option!

We finished our night with a few more rides on Thunder Run! Scott, Dave, and I did two laps on it, while Joseph, Amadeo, and Sarah did a third lap on it!

There is a decorative train engine by the entrance of Thunder Run.

Here's Scott and I posing for a photo at one of the Winterfest photo spots near Wonder Mountain.

After a great evening of fun, it was time to head home to warm up! Here's Joseph, Amadeo, myself, Scott, and Dave posing for a photo. Sarah was too cold at this point!

Here's one last look at International Street before heading out for the night! ๐Ÿ™‚❄️๐ŸŽ„
