Canada's Wonderland - June 1st, 2022

There's no better way starting off a new month than making a visit to Canada's Wonderland! The morning of my third visit of the 2022 season started out rainy, but it soon cleared making it a great day to get on many rides, 19 different ones to be exact with some repeat rides! Be sure to enjoy some of the photos from my day at Canada's Wonderland!

The skies were filled with clouds that would eventually rain down on the park after it had opened for the day.

The shrubs along the Royal Fountain on International Street were all very green.

After getting two rides all to myself on Vortex and a ride on Lumberjack, the rain began to come down rather hard for a while. I took shelter in Vortex's queue.

The rain had eventually let up, but many of the rides and roller coasters had stayed closed for several minutes after. I did take a ride on the Antique Carousel before venturing around the park, waiting for the other rides to open.

Time Warp was one of the first roller coasters to re-open after the rain had passed, so I decided to take a ride on it. Time Warp gave an 'okay' ride for a Zamperla Volare. Definitely not the worst I've had on it.

Backlot Stunt Coaster had also reopened after I took a ride on Time Warp. It too gave a decent ride today.

Throughout my visit I took a couple of spins on White Water Canyon, the park's river rapids ride.

I've always enjoyed the secludedness of the White Water Canyon queue. It feels as if you've completely left the park while you walk along it.

A family of geese were having a meal near Ghoster Coaster in Planet Snoopy in the middle of the afternoon.

From this angle it looks like Shockwave is touching The Fly! The close placement of Shockwave only adds to the thrill of the ride!

In the afternoon I decided to take a ride on Flight Deck. It gave a rough but tolerable ride as per usual.

Yukon Striker on the other hand gave a rather smooth and forceful ride as per usual. Although the brakes seemed to be a bit harder than usual.

Construction on the new dining facility continued throughout the day.

It became somewhat humid throughout the afternoon, so I decided to ride Timberwolf Falls to cool down. Here are some park guests enjoying the tidal wave which the boats make after the go down the drop!

If you look closely, you can see the expression on the one rider's face caused by the force produced by Vortex.

Here's another look at the new dining facility with Yukon Striker in the background.

After another day of fun, it was time to head home! :-)
