On the evening of September 11th, my brother Scott and I went to Canada's Wonderland for an evening of Oktoberfest fun!
We had a fun four hours taking in the sights of Oktoberfest being held in Medieval Faire, enjoying some of the great food served during the event! We also managed to get on quite a few rides too.
Be sure to enjoy the photos from my ninth visit of the season to Canada's Wonderland! 🙂🥨🎢
| We arrived at the park just before 5:30pm for an evening of Oktoberfest, held at the park on select days from September 11th to 20th, 2026. |
| The sun was shining brightly as the evening began to cool down. |
| Oktoberfest is set up in Medieval Faire in front of Canterbury Theatre. |
| Our first ride of the evening was on Leviathan. |
| Up next was a ride on Vortex! |
| Recently the park's maintenance team has installed new shock absorbers on Vortex on the first half of the trains. These new shocks prevent the cars from swinging insanely as you hit the brake run. While they decrease the swinging of the cars, I guess they do help by putting less stress on the track caused by the swinging of the cars over the years, ultimately (hopefully) increasing the life span of Vortex as it is celebrating 35 years of operation this year. |
| We then walked back over to Medieval Faire for a ride on Drop Tower. |
| We then went over to Oktoberfest for a meal. |
| Here is one of the Oktoberfest performers. |
| Here were the offerings at this year's addition of Oktoberfest. The Oktoberfest Flatbread was new. |
| Here's a look at the food options that could be ordered during this year's Oktoberfest event! |
| I ordered the chicken schnitzel with a side of herbed spaetzle. |
| The chicken schnitzel was served on a soft pretzel bun. It was all very delicious. Scott ordered the Oktoberfest Flatbread with a side of apple sauce. |
| There were German music performers playing at Oktoberfest. |
| The crowd seemed to be enjoying their music! |
| After a delicious meal, I ordered the Everything Pretzels with Obatzda cheese spread. They were quite soft and very tasty, too! |
| The Happy Wanderers really brought the spirit of Oktoberfest to the park! |
| Here's another performer, a juggler juggling pins above his head! |
| After eating and enjoying the Oktoberfest festivities, we took a ride on Dragon Fyre. |
| We then took a spin on Spinovator. |
| We then began to venture to the Frontier Canada and Action Zone sections of the park. On our way over, we noticed the park has began to set up for Halloween Haunt, which begins on September 25th. |
| We took a thrilling ride on Tundra Twister! We managed to get some good rocking action during this cycle! |
| Up next was a ride on Mighty Canadian Minebuster. Once we got on, the sun had set, giving us an amazing night ride! |
| Up next was a ride on Behemoth! It sures flies after dark! |
| We then rode Sledge Hammer which was fun as always! |
| We then took a night ride on The DareDeviler! |
| It still rides very good with the new trains that were introduced this summer! I like how this photo turned out, making the orange train just a blur! |
| We then walked back over to AlpenFest. On our way over, I captured this beautiful nighttime view of the Royal Fountain from the bridge on International Street. |
| Wonder Mountain was also quite beautiful at night. |
| We then hopped on Thunder Run. It seemed faster than usual! Maybe it was, or the cooler weather was giving that illusion. |
| Scott decided to sit out on AlpenFury, my final ride of the night! |
| Here's the inverted top hat element peaking out behind the peaks of Wonder Mountain. |
| With my single use Fast Lane pass thanks to my Prestige pass, I got on AlpenFury in just a little over 5 minutes! The train looks ghostly at night as it zips into the depths of Wonder Mountain! My last ride of the day was amazing as I got a backrow seat on AlpenFury! It's a very fun night ride! |
| After a great evening of Oktoberfest and rides, it was time to go home! Thanks for checking out the photos from our visit to Canada's Wonderland! 🙂 |
